That's gotta be up there for darkest scenes. Did Hodor see his own death in the future while he was having that seizure? And then does he know all along that's how he's gonna die?
Hodor is a fan favorite so his death will expectedly bring out a lot of sorrow, but it's going to be annoying how much everyone will inevitably bitch about another wolf dying. The wolves are vicious killing machines that will do anything to protect their Starks. It makes sense they would sacrifice themselves in doing so. Summer could have just run away from the wights but that's not what the wolves do.

And yeah, Summer died because winter is here. Also, Bran has always warged into Summer and Hodor and they're both dead now, so that's something as well.
Wonder if they'll be merciful and spare us from seeing wight Hodor.
