Clearly you have a less than sophisticated perspective concerning this conference and it's actual role in GOP politics and exploited is trying to cue you that there is some nuance there. But you aren't having any of it.

He's obviously not defending the GOP in any way or playing the game of semantics.

I will say you two have done a masterful job of completely diverting the talk away from the OP and Chris Christie and instead into endless semantical hide-and-seek games and now, inevitably, ad homs and talking about other posters.

This must be the "nuance" that you both were talking about. You know, that I don't "get."



The point being--since you two are all about "nuance" (look at you go!): Rubio's getting all the approval because he's the same ole same ole with a Hispanic background, which will clearly bring the Hispanic vote around next time, as the "nuanced" thinking goes. Look! He's one of us! Habla Espanol! You know, when it comes to them Hispanics what we need here, ya see--is one of 'em! Get us a guy with one of them Hispanic last names! Heh heh.

Christie committed two unforgivable sins: a) actually choosing to govern instead of putting everything on hold to create a Romney photo op (so famously documented on the always-awesome FOX & Friends) and b) actually criticizing the party when they do something stupid.

I've noticed a distinct lack of interest in partisan hackery on this forum, and yet here you are, constantly denying the obvious partisanship of your views, demonizing the opposition, talking to other people as if they are in lock-step with your perceived enemies, etc.
