The OP states no one was killed. If that is true, then that is probably why this event has been ignored.

It is however, gun violence. Which further reinforces the fact that the media is exclusively interested in ratings and money, not agenda.

I hate to say it but the reason why is because its black on black violence in the ghetto.
Had a pretty, young white girl been shot, it'd still be on the news and somehow it would be Obama's fault.

The short answer is that it was black people and even more: poor black people.
Had this type of thing happened in Gross Pointe, I assure you all the network anchors would have been broadcasting from there the next day.
Americans don't care when colored people die/get hurt.
I don't like it either but it's the way it is.
