Well, if you do, I really don't care. Because it's working for me and my family. If more people spent more time improving their station in life, and less time blaming others, then more people would be better off. And, the more that some people improve themselves, the more likely it is to help even those who don't work to improve themselves.
For instance, let's say that I work hard and get a promotion and 25% raise. This means that I'll be paying a few thousand more dollars in taxes, which is then transferred to those less fortunate than myself.
That being said, it is also possible to work to actually fix the situation while also working to better your own situation.
