I am loving how the anti-gay (I do love how there is still specifically anti just being a homosexual is still a live position) is slowly loosing a grinding war of attrition.

A major even private (like Chick-fil-A is) company trying to make some sort of absurd 'moral' stand might as well equate to 'who wants to do on a stupid crusade at the cost of a couple quaters worth of descent profit'?

Why? Gay (as in the LGBT) people demographically are probably only something like 4-8% (probably always have been). Given however, that most straight people tend to have roughly 15 or so friends. The demographic section of people who know a gay person they think highly of and see no reason to persecute, is a hell of a lot higher. Soon as it became ok to be openly gay generally in the western world during the 1980'ies, this war was lost.

As a side note, you want to see another hilariousness battleground of the war on gays, check the Scottish gay marriage thing out, catholic church, very sad panda.

Chik-fil-a needs to open two new stores in Chicago so it issues a letter. They get their 2 new stores. And all the weirdos clap. But not one mind was changed at corporate or amongst their 97% hetero clientele. Just window dressing over a bandaid. All is well.

I just don't get why anyone cares about gay/not-gay. The ONLY difference between gays and heteros are what they do in the bedroom at night. They hold the same jobs, are members of the same religions, go to the same restaurants, etc. Everything is the same, except what they do with the thing between their legs.

I don't care what ANYONE does with the thing between their legs, be they man, woman, gay, or hetero. It's none of my business. And, I just can't figure out why anyone else cares.

I doubt that Chick-fil-a was hurting on sales. Every time I see one that is open, it has a line. Doesn't matter what time of day.

Its sad that a restaurant is ridiculed for being anti-gay, but nobody cares if you're pro-gay. Why is that?
