Sure. You can lose weight eating sugared lard with a spoon if you feel like it.
Not that it matters, because nobody is actually doing it. Instead they're rolling through the drive through at Mickey D's and buying half a dozen dollar menu items and giving themselves stratospheric glycemic spikes.
Or maybe they're knocking back a two liter bottle of Mt Dew, and chasing it with a pile carbs topped with gravy. We didn't develop a nearly 70% overweight/obese rate by counting the calories in our cheese whiz.
