Responding to the staff

Folks,

There's a growing trend lately that I'd like to address. The staff members are getting lots of backtalk and nasty PMs from people any time we try to inform people of anything. Look, I understand no one likes getting a PM saying you've been issued a board warning or asking you to "knock it off", and I understand that you may be heated about something, however that is by no means an excuse to just be flat out nasty or constantly backtalk to the mods/admins here.

When we send you a PM about something, its either to inform or ask a question. And while we do encourage members to give us feedback, the proper way to do it is not by insulting us, calling us names, or telling us to "knock it off" in return. If you have a problem with something a moderator did, feel free to PM an admin about it. If you don't like something one of the admins did, PM the other about it.

Example of things not to say:

"Well everyone else was doing it so its ok for me to do it too."
"Well why don't YOU stop first?"
"Well you know, this is just typical of you god damn libtards/reptiles that run this place and I'm tired of all the biased shit going on here."
"Soandso started it."
"f**k you, asshole."

The staff members do not get paid to take abuse and abusive PMs are happening far too frequently here in the last few weeks. In the future, backtalk/nasty messages to staff members are going to result in a 3 day suspension/PB minimum. You can PM us, you can ask us about things, you can even tell us you don't like a decision but it needs to be done with some courtesy.
