Thanks for the feedback, but in the future can we not fight so much on topics like this? If people have suggestions for "optimizing" the site in some manner, feel free to PM me on what you think needs to change.

Really not in support of merging the sports and entertainment forums with the lounge. The lounge was busy enough already. Would have been best to merge sports into entertainment. The real forums that need consolidating are history, economics, abortion, philosophy and conspiracy. Perhaps we could combine front page news and general as well.

Front Page and General Discussion will probably not be merged as Front Page is open to the public and GD is not.

I'd like a Sports & Entertainment subforum. Stuff gets buried in The Lounge.

Agree on Social stuff being consolidated into one.

Science stuff goes in the Lounge, IMO.

I think it's just fine. You guys are overreacting. What thread has been buried? Go to the next page. If it's not a good topic, then what does it matter if it gets buried?
