1) Hitler and Stalin were never going to be 'allies'...Eventually one, or the other would have turned on the other.

2) No matter what Sea Lion wasn't going to work. Germany just didn't have the Navy, didn't have the landing craft for the landing, and didn't have the Navy/ships to keep supplying an Army in England, if it made it. I could see so many German divisions maybe making it to England, but then getting stranded. Also IMO Hitler was never really 100% committed to invading England. Actually I don't he think really wanted anything to do with it, but France fell quicker than anyone anticipated, Goering told him the Luftwaffe could easily defeat the RAF, and England too would be a cake walk.. Even without a 1941 invasion of Russia on his mind I think eventually though Hitler would have had 2nd thoughts.

3) By August 1945 none of it would have mattered.

Again, England was reading Germany's mail.. That gave England a big advantage.. Also again England had her empire to draw on for materials and troops.

And by 1944, in MY scenario Germany and Russia would have been at war.. No way Hitler and Stalin wouldn't have been at each other's throats by 1944.

First of all, Britain was outproducing Germany in aeroplanes during the Battle of Britain, and as the Battle was taking place mainly over British soil, British pilots shot down could generally be put back in service whereas German pilots were captured.

Worst case scenario is that if the pressure got too much, the RAF would have retreated North to rebuild and regroup. If the Germans had actually tried to invade Britain, the RAF would have returned to the south and the Royal Navy would have sailed south from Scapa flow as well. Operation Sea Lion was doomed from the start.

Britain's Empire also had more resources in terms of manpower and raw materials than Nazi Germany, and the Empire's inhabitant's were generally more enthusiastic participants to the war effort than the Reich's subjugated peoples. Any attempt to invade the continent and liberate it would have been extremely difficult, if not impossible, But Britain could control everything else, especially if the Anglo-Japanese alliance had survived.

The German attack on Russia was also inevitable. It was set out in Mein Kampf as an ideological goal to create lebensraum in the East and Stalin himself was gearing up for an attack on Nazi Germany, but the Nazis preempted him long before he was ready. Also, Germany's war economy was heavily reliant on looting other people's countries, so he didn't really have much choice except to carry on expanding against his ideological foes...

If any of you guys read Mein Kampf it pretty much spelled out what Hitler was going to do.

The original German timetable for war was 1944- that was when the Heer could finally be fully motorized and the German Navy's Z-Plan would have been completed. Hitler already told his ally Mussolini that there would be no war prior to 1943. The Invasion of Poland and the British and French declarations of war definitely threw a cog into Hitler's plans and even Mussolini didnt go along with the war at first because he knew his country wasn't even close to being ready. Hitler was also thrown off guard by England's steadfastness, he didnt want war with the British because he envisioned them to be Germany's world partner so he never properly prepared his military for invading them.

In the east, Stalin was still purging his military and his reorganization plans weren't ready yet either. I dont think he was planning to attack Hitler but he was also mistrustful of the west and hoped that both Germany and the others would exhaust themselves while leaving him alone. Operation Barbarossa caught him by surprise simply because he didnt want to think about it.
