I think Bloomberg is going to enter the race as a Trojan horse for the Democratic party and pull a Ross Perot and run as a Republican, just to split the party.

Bloomy will split libs as much as conservatives. he's appealing enough for people who really really don't want hillary.
i don't think he'll be on the ballot though.

If I had to guess, I would also say he doesn't run. He's not just floating it to get attention, he is indeed giving it serious consideration. But I think he will only get in if he truly believes he can win rather than just play spoiler, and I think he'll conclude that it's unlikely he can win.

None of the red states will vote for Bloomberg so I think that ends that discussion--unless he can corner all the blue states?

None of the red states will vote for Bloomberg so I think that ends that discussion--unless he can corner all the blue states? The only people he's going to divert are moderates, indies and maybe some Dems so I don't see how this hurts anybody but the Democratic party.

Bloomberg would appeal to business republicans and corporate Dems. Country club republicans don't care about guns or abortion.
Bloomberg is basically Mitt Romney if Romney had never had to pander to a bunch of slackjawed cretins to get into the general.
