The questions are , Have we gone too far to recover? Do we want to recover? Should we just turn off the lights and shut the door?
My opinion is the United States is lost. In short order we will crumble and dissolve as many other great nations have in the past. It is my opinion that if we do not or can not reverse this trend it is over.

I speak Mandarin so when the debt collecting overlords come, I could just work for them. I also own a small family farm in Kansas, so in case I can't make enough money collecting debt or runnig my current business of offering fabricated tours of SF and LA, I'll just retreat to my family farm and become a redneck.

I like the way the Chinese are always saying 'nage' what sounds just like "ethnic group member" instead of where we would say "err". I can just imagine an black person in US or Europe overhearing a Chinese conversation and being like "WTF?!?!!"

So, Am I preaching to the choir? Our trade deficit is running over half a trillion per year and now Obama is asking for fast track on trade deals. So what is it guys? you all used to have some answers. I really think this country is beyond saving now. Not that I think our republic is beyond saving as a type of government but too far gone in debt to recover. Is there a safe way back?
