But the heart of a close ally is foolishly situated within easy artillery range of their mortal enemies, to say nothing of the presumption that even the inept north korean pyromancers could find a way to lob one of their primitive nukes such a short distance.

Trump is generally following GOPE dogma in security policy and leans heavily on his cabinet (especially McMaster and mathis who are reasonable gentlemen).
