i've read from almost everyone that banished gets pretty boring after like 10 hours because you've basically made it so your village can't fail

broken -- if you want i will actually help you through EU4. ive been telling this to exploited. there's every nation being played by the AI so there's plenty ot conquer without going for each other, and i just want to play multiplayer. i have a vent server and shit to use. those games last a while, so we could set up recurring times and whatnot, especially if comrade (complains about balance) and exploited (is a kitty) stop being bitches

it's still fun to keep on building it bigger

you can always accept nomads and watch your delicate balance fall to pieces

but it's a fair assesemnt to say it can get boring, but it's like, just a nice builder. it's more challenging and more fun than sim city 5 and less DRMy

yeah sim city 4 is glorious

and sure, you can pick your nation i'll find a comparable one

space engineers new update can connect with connectors small to large ships and it all uses the conveyor system together. that game is really coming together. it's actually an amazing alpha. any other game "early access" they send updates once every few months and you wonder why you bothered... but weekly updates? feedback from the devs? amazing.

Definitely. Next week or two might be busy but once I have a chance to take a crack I wouldn't mind spending time with something a bit more complex. Really have no clue what I'm getting myself into. Also, would I need one of those headsets with a mic? I'm assuming vent means ventrilo.

John Galt wrote:yeah if you think about the games you can get the PC Master Race is actually a cheaper alternative to consoles, plus more choices, better graphics, better everything. steam sale is just bonus on top of all of that

i also picked up BL

today on steam must haves are

EU4 $10
Banished $10
Civ 5 $7.50
Dishonored $5

Yeah, I mean being able to adjust screen resolution alone is a big plus. And you can just plug in a controller if you really want to play console-style games. Funny thing though is my friend who's a programmer now plays FPS on consoles, which I initially thought was vile but maybe it's not so bad?
