Honestly, the standard SATA SSD's are going to be a huge, huge, "can never go back" upgrade for you. Its as big a leap as broadband was from dial up. The PCIe drives are still intended for enterprise applications. I doubt they'd be worth paying 4-5 times more for.

Got the Samsung SSD and Win7 installed, runs like a beauty. I about pulled my hair out after the Windows updates failed to install and continued to reboot itself over and over again until I guess it figured itself out.
