Stop being a dick to the guy. It's perfectly possible that the city offers certain packages in certain places, and not in others. Hence the application on the site. It also clearly distinguishes between business or residential. Lay off of him, no wonder new people don't post here.

Oh stop being patronizing. He's a grown up.

Besides, I don't doubt he's got some sag at peak hours. Thats certainly not unheard of with cable networks.

That's funny, considering this:

Really? You paying $99.95 for 50? Or $44.95 for 15? Which is it?

Really, Monroe is getting a far better deal than I do. Far better.

I don't care if you don't believe it. Here's as far as I'm going on proof. Speed Test My bill clearly shows the $44.95 amount and uses the words Internet Max Access. If that isn't good enough for you, there is nothing short of inviting you to drop by that will do it.

Dude. Relax. "Max" access might just be marketing or something? And as Saz pointed out, it could be because of your specific location. Could even be a bunch of static on the line. Its OK.

If I were living there, I'd have signed up for the $69.95 a month - 25mbps downstream / 2mbps upstream deal, personally. Call your ISP and upgrade. They'll click a mouse a few times and you'll be on your way.

$45 for 15 down is a STEAL compared to the crap I get.
