this is why a securely encrypted platform is needed, then nobody that isn't invited can get involved whether the subject be business, social activism, crime etc

crowdfunding has had a lot of problems since it began. indiegogo, for example, had an issue this year of someones project being hacked and then cancelled because someone else disagreed with the organization. then there are the people who never make a return on their pledge goals which is fraud but kickstarter tries to pretend it isn't.

if i am promised something upon payment when conditions XYZ are met, and XYZ are met, and i am not given what i was promised, that means i was lied to. it was a fraudulent agreement. i gave money for goods, and was not given goods.
having an EULA that says "no it totally isn't fraud" doesn't make it not fraud. corporate terms and conditions don't supercede US law.
