Now you can get suspended for playing with airsoft guns

Has anyone ever shot one of these airsoft guns? These aren't childs toys, well they are, but they're painful. My nephew used to be into airsoft and got this new gun and brought it to show me. I asked him how accurate it was and he said very. So I said lets see what you can do. I walked down to the end of my parents driveway (the xmas party was there that year) and turned with my back facing him and said ok see if you can hit me. We were at least 100 feet apart. I hear "thwack" and then immediately feel "bling!!!" as that plastic ball bounced off the back of my head! These things are powerful and accurate. Some of them are sniper rifles that come with scopes, etc. He had his front tooth shot out by an airsoft gun. Now he has to wear fake teeth in the front from his chipped tooth.

I loved playing with airsoft guns and we would be running all around the neighborhoods in middle school. We just had the little pistols, can't speak for the larger guns. I think it is a fun activity for children and provides exercise and teaches pain tolerance. Also kids learn teamwork and strategy.

Damn, how old are you, kid? I'm only 34 and they didn't have those things when I was a kid. I only became aware of them a few years ago.
