Recording every move is the answer. Cops have proven beyond a shadow of a doubt they cannot and will not regulate themselves. Accordingly, constant video and audio surveillance is the only viable solution. If you have an irresponsible child you supervise that child.

Wonder how far we are from that. A regular 32GB SD card in a GoPro will record for 8 hours. Get a 64GB card, and you're good.

Prof is right that a lot of this is top-down bullshit.
it's the legislatures that are criminalizing everything.
it's the courts that are stripping us of our rights.
it's the people demanding more police protection and getting tougher on crime.
it's the feds who are largely paying for police to militarize their kit.
it's the city counsels who push for quotas and money.
it's the all of the above who lose their shit if a cop errors on the side of not charging someone.
