Meh. Not up to us. It's the social elites in Europe who want to make political statements with their prize and make a mockery of it in the process. I say let them.

You people realize she has not won it yet...don't you. This was simply announcing that they had nominated her. We dont know the full list of candidates, and we probably never will. Her nomination will bring a lot of focus on her plight and the plight of other young girls in the same situation.

I don't buy into the "let's reward them to grow them" thing. Like I said, the Prize should be for tangible accomplishments already achieved, not what a person might do in the future.
It is like taking a young doctor who shows promise and giving him a reward because it might "encourage" him to do better. No. You give rewards to people who have already accomplished things in their field, on their own, without having "Nobel Laureate" on their resume.
