You misunderstood. People (such as yourself) feel that because these are celebrities they should have no reasonable expectation of privacy; that is the double standard. These people signed up to be actors and because they were deemed to be good they became celebrities. While many embrace that celebrity, they have not signed over their lives to the tabloids. These days even successful business owners have become targets of the paparazzi, should they quit their jobs too? It's easy to say now that you'd be fine with it, I don't suspect you would be so accepting if it actually occurred. How many thousands of times do you think all of these people have said "no comment"? I imagine it wears on them. The annoyance of tabloids is not a necessary evil, it's not part of their contract.

If it's within his rights then why should it hurt him in court?

And what the F is a multi-millionaire doing walking his own dogs firstly. And why, if he knows the photogs are outside his building, is he even contemplating going out there. Are there no back doors to his building if he so conscientiously needs to personally walk the dogs?
