Dude the Netherlands had the same problem the US had before legalizing it. Now the problems are even worse. Legalizing it didn't fix the issues of human trafficking at all - it made it worse.
So what changes would the US have to make if adopting such a thing that it wouldn't happen here as well?

Immigration reform but I've already said that. As for the Netherlands, I can't speak much to the comparison because I'm not well versed on how regulated their prostitution industry is nor about their immigration system.
