there is nothing to discus. the fact that we disagree on what is value is a big ol QED that it's subjective.
the discussion that needs to happen is why you think humans are separate from the ecosystem and why you think that the observable effects of consumption aren't real.
so far you've just made normative statements "x is good, y is valuable" without actually addressing reality.

that's a stupid article. something i'd expect from bill o'reilly and company; a childish and extreme "pushing back" against a seeming threat.

do you honestly believe that article is a valid take on issues of environmental degradation and is a realistic portrayal of environmentalism when it calls the ideas behind it anti-human? that it says humanity can't use resources?
