They tried to beat communism into people, didnt work. At least capitalism gave rise to a middle class and increased quality of life.

You clearly don't understand what Adam Smith meant by "invisible hand." Hint: has to do with human reason.

I fully understand it because I read Penguin Classics edition of The Wealth of Nations many years ago, as opposed to the Karl Marx edition of it.
