I'm a believer in homework because it reinforces the lessons. Also, students *think* they got it until they have to do the problem on their own later and then they realize they didn't quite grasp every aspect of the lesson and thus solidify it in their mind at that time. Same with adult learning....

Saz just has a self-righteous attitude problem. He already freely admitted he would disrupt a classroom if a teacher didn't 'respect' him by giving him free time. Talk about being immature.
Yeah, if you stand up in the middle of class and just argue, argue, argue, I'm not legally allowed to smack you in the face or restrain you, but I can get you arrested. Where's the controversy?
In an ideal world I'd let students leave if there was nothing left to discuss, but I can't because I become the legal guardians of each teenager, and I'm not risking my job. Damn unionized teachers!
