Not a big fan of dill pickles or mustard. But, I'll down a Cuban sandwich like nobodies business! It's truly delectable!
I also enjoy them on media noche, instead of Cuban bread. Adds a bit of sweetness to go along with the dill of the pickle and nuttiness of swiss.
But, nothing - and I mean N-O-T-H-I-N-G beats a Cuban pig roast. Roast the pig for a few hours over hardwood charcoal, inundate it in homemade mojo for the last 30 minutes, then stoke up the fire to turn the entire skin into a big chicharone. Dear God - if there ain't cuban pig roasts in heaven, I don't want to go!!

I used to operate the smoker at Whole Foods. Actually smoked about 40K lbs of salmon during my career there.
Wish I would have thought of that, because we used to smoke all kinds of crazy stuff.
