Okay it's not playoffs quite yet but this picture is an amazing shot

Anyway... Hopefully these wins for the wild keep coming. It is the 50th anniversary of the North Stars (/the last time leafs won the cup) and it the wild have looked really good this year.

well, i'm going on wedsnesday for game 1, wild hosting the blues. blues are coached by former wild coach mike yeo who was fired in feburary last season after losing 13 of his last 14 games with the team. the wild then won basically all their games after he was gone and went to the playoffs. the blues fired their coach in feburary of this year and got mike yeo as their head coach. and here we are.

it was a rough march for the wild after a spectacular rest-of-the-year. april was improved, but that was largely because our opponents were trash. but this year can be the year. we've got a great team, and 50 years since the North Stars were created would be a fitting time for minnesota to finally get the cup.

sorry leafs, maybe next century. ovechkin is going to sit at that dot and score on you all day. god that guy is so amazing i hate him so much that he can do that

jesus f**k allen was amazing last night. man stopped almost 60 shots on goal, and managed to single handedly beat the wild, with a little help from the refs (who were escorted off ice between intermissions by police)

well got company suite tonight with VPs so i hope i am not fired for my mouth. but free food, free booze, free playoff hockey, how can i not go

only 3 of 8 home teams won first game, which is very surprising. and caps went into overtime. exploited i hope your team beats dylan's. that would be quite sweet. i don't care if they move on in the playoffs or not though after that

I can't watch Maple Leafs in the playoffs. My heart was broken twice and never recovered. So I just don't do it.

They're heavily outclassed against the Caps and it shows.

However, looking at the leafs roster, one would suspect that the leafs will be the better team in 3-5 years. Like if I showed that roster to somebody and covered up the maple leafs logo they'd be like "damn that's gonna be a contender in 3-5 years". But then when I moved my hand away to show them the leafs logo they would just chuckle or maybe put a bag over their head and cry a little.

Was glad to see the Habs tie it up. They really should bear the blueshirts.

Everything I've read this year tells me that the Caps are the best team in the league, so the Leafs even keeping it to a close game is impressive for a roster that young and untested. If the Leafs somehow manage to win I will probably start tuning in but it will take alot out of me when they inevitability lose, yet again.

You didn't watch the game right? Honestly it doesn't bode well for the leafs. Caps were rattled for the first 30 minutes but they settled in, ran 4 lines, and utterly dominated the game in the second half. Caps are far too deep and experienced for the leafs. Young legs gave us trouble but you're running 3 lines and losing the match up battle still.

Its not gonna happen man.

But you have auston Matthews. An American from Arizona will be the savior of Canada's flagship franchise lmao
