The Democratic Archetype v. The Republican Archetype

Postby exploited » Fri Sep 29, 2017 2:10 pm

Imagine, if you could, two people. The first person embodies the "average" Democrat voter. The second embodies the "average" Republican voter.

By average, I mean the common traits and beliefs that are held by the majority of each parties registered members. Note that there is no independent here - both archetypes are registered to their party, and only have the common traits of the people in those parties.

You must pick one person to hang out with at a bar. Nothing political or "serious" will be discussed. Just casually hanging out.

Who do you pick, and why?

I'll take the Republican since both archetypes in this scenario are objectively unbearable people, but I feel like the Republican would be more open to just drinking in silence while staring at whatever's on the TV behind the bar. Hopefully not an NFL game.
