What are you talking about? Without law enforcement, everything would be peace, love, and pasta salad. The negatives are just a result of government or force or nationalism or whatever. Humans are naturally pacifists and respectful of each other's rights and property.

I'm no fan of cops, far from it.. But to say we'd be better off without them and everything about cops is a negative is beyond naive.
I think some people here need to get out in the real world more often.

Show me the graphs on closure rates. The drop that you talk about may simply reflect revised methodology as well as a massive increase in data accumulation in recent years due to more captured crimes in the still developing NIBRS database and the older UCR system.
