You know what happened for twenty years prior to WWII? Hundreds, thousands, of brutal street fights... between hundreds and occasionally thousands of Germans. The socialists and communists used to clash regularly with the Nazi Party, and it didn't prevent their rise.

Fascists feed off altering perceptions. They want violence. They love the antifa. America is already polarized and they want to put the proles on their side. Why?

Because the average person, uninterested in politics, doesn't want their existence interrupted by it. They will support a government crackdown, a dangerous thing when you have a guy like Trump as President.

but america isn't the weimar republic. they're not going to choose fascism to stop the reds. they're going to hate both sides as is usually the case in american history. did the average american like the jim crow south? nope. but they also didn't like the race riots. NUANCE BREH.

Antifa has accomplished nothing. They have made the problem worse. They seriously threaten neither the Nazis, nor the government, nor the alt right in general. They do not contribute to a solution at all. Nobody takes them seriously. Nobody will take them seriously.
