Overzealous PD basing actions on hospital #1's medical provider's alerts added to immigrant parent's actions in not following refusal of treatment protocol ( a one page signed form) needing their signature to protect hospital #1's liability. Perfect shit-storm exemplifying the states ability to over react on the side of caution. I'm sure a judge will rule with the parents and hospital #2's summation that the child is in no imminent harm. I hope anyway.

The hearing was yesterday. It is my understanding that, after taking the child from his parents, CPS brought him back to the first hospital (the one that was pressuring them into getting a major surgery without a second opinion and had f**k up the medication). A judge ordered the child to be transferred to Stanford Medical Center. It sounds like the parents have custody, but they have to do everything the doctors at Stanford tell them to do. I think CPS will be checking in on the child every month or something from now on.
