You've made the argument. I'm looking for concrete evidence to back up your claim that the NRA uses intimidation tactics that go beyond what's considers normal lobbying and advocacy. For the most part I agree with you on the rest of what you've said about the NRA: that they've become too extreme and are strongly tied to the gun industry. It's the intimidation/coercion piece that I've been arguing with you about and that you've refused to back up.

You realize, don't you, that on pretty much every thread it ends with you saying I won't back up what I said or your favorite: "Answer my question!!!!!!!" And then when you're proven wrong you just pivot to a different argument like you're doing here. Round and round and round and round we go.

You need to find somebody else to play these games with you because I'm not going to anymore. Or with people whose sole response to any argument is endlessly screeching about how I'm a liberal, a Democrat, a partisan or even worse, the now-dreaded College Liberal.

Honestly I look back on this whole thread and wonder why I even responded at all because the outcome was entirely predictable.

Then I remind myself: it's for the practice. And then I'm happy.
