Sigmund Freud defined four parts of a psyche; the id, the ego, the superego and the stratego. The Stratego being the highest form of morality and scientific thinking.

Winchester plops down into his favorite Lazy Boy, his face warmed by the glow of fine scotch, his stomach full after a delicious meal prepared by his successful, beautiful daughters. The dismembered heads of bygone deer stare down at him from the walls. The muted TV is showing his favourite WWII documentary. Smiling, his eyelids grow heavy, and he begins to drift off into a satisfied slumber.
"Hey Dad! Whatcha doing?!" a shrill voice calls out.
Winchester grunts. It's him.
"Is that a Sony TV? Because Sony is doomed and I've said so for years. You didn't know that Dad?"
Be cool, Winchester thinks. At least he tries. Opening his eyes, he glances over at Eric, who is wearing a collander on his head and a shirt that reads "Bombing for peace is like f**k for virginity."
"Yes, eric, it's a Sony. And yes, you told me that Sony was doomed LAST Christmas."
Nodding his head, and subsequently adjusting his pastafarian headgear, eric searches his mind for something else to say to the old man. "Did you know that meat is murder?"
Winchester sighs. Four years of this shit. Four years since an innocuous comment on PCF turned into a horrifying reality. He says nothing, hoping that perhaps eric will simply disappear.
"It's alright though Dad, I forgive you."
