Yeah, it's the equivalency that will be drawn that's irritating. This was a comedian goofing off for a photo...NOT, repeat: NOT saying it's ok. (So please don't claim I am.) But a picture is worth a thousand words...and we have an immortal picture of Franken.

And it will take a bunch of heat off of a man who took kids out in his car and pawed all over them with his sweaty pedo-hands right before preaching godly righteousness from a government office.

We don't have pictures of that. We just have the word of victims who are being smeared, doxed, and made walking examples of exactly why this went unreported for so long.

she helped write the skit this was a part of, and the photo was staged and she wasn't even touched. and it's not like franken was her boss or had any power or authority over her. she also conspired with another right-wing talking head who came out with her own accusations that he 'stalked her' by calling her home phone to discuss tax numbers.

It'll sort itself out. I'm at the age where all of my friends and colleagues, if they plan on having kids, are having kids. And what I'm seeing, with almost no exceptions, is pretty strict limitations on screen-time and access to the internet. We may have f**k up one generation but the next will be equipped to deal with it.
