Dissemination of hysterical nonsense about NASA not being able to spot our doom because of the shutdown is not a good thing. I mean the US Weekly disseminates information as well. It's a bunch of garbage information but it is information.
I wasn't equivocating. One is worse. But CNN has no credibility anymore anyway. It has anchors who cry about the news, on TV, while they are supposed to be doing their job. It's got breaking news of whatever every 8.5 minutes on average, and the whole thing is built around the idea of "let's turn a panic attack into money". It's not news.

CNN fell into the same trap that many other news organizations did in Venezuela - they became the opposition. And then people didn’t trust them because of it.
CNN needs to tread lightly. But it’s looking more and more like HuffPost every day. That’s a problem.

ITT i get called a trump apologist because i say CNN is shit. what has the world come to
the women's march/moment and the strangely named poundMeToo movement have different goals. would have the latter even existed in a clinton presidency? that woman burned every one of those women who bill either had sex with or raped, and says they are not to be trusted. i laugh thinking about a clinton presidency dealing with it. the women's moment (the march) started as reactionary to the fact that an election happened. it was mainly about group therapy. and now you can see how splintered it is because a different movement against sexual harassment and abuse by people with power has formed. the second group therapy session this year now is simultaneously about yelling about trump and about meToo. however, by associating with outrage of trump in general (as opposed to simply his treatment of women, which is, to be fair, disgusting at best) it risks splitting up the actual movement. together with people complaining about bad dates as being representative of how badly they were treated, the entire thing is in peril of collapsing
