Seriously though, where did this idea that political appointees don't make political decisions come from? I can't possibly fathom how ignorant of modern history you'd have to be in order to advance such a position.

When Dylan blindly lashed out at "liberals", he was actually trying to insult American leftists who can recognize that all Dylan's precious rules and precedents about "the way things are done" are already being burnt to the ground, regardless of what people do to try and resist Trump's disastrous agenda. What is ironic is that it is exactly the term Dylan used instead - liberals - who are completely oblivious and in denial about the reality of what is happening. Liberals love following the rules and being "reasonable" at all times, even when the situation warrants doing otherwise.

Then again, this is all a waste of time since Dylan has already openly admitted that he is hoping to see Trump's agenda enacted without any obstruction, as he would like to see as many people suffer as possible.

And why not cooperate where feasible? Obstructionism for obstructions sake is no good.

I would be in favor of cooperating with Trump if and when he proposes something good. Until then, Democrats should obstruct everything as much as possible. But again, I am coming from a point of view that does not consider human suffering a desirable outcome.
