That will be the biggest lasting effect from Trump. He is destroying the institutions that stabilize American politics and eliminating the idea of truth. What emerges from this is likely to be far worse than the admittedly flawed model we currently have.

We could just eventually get back to the point where the dead beats just died. WTF did people do before the massive welfare safety net? A plan for temporary help has turned into a lifestyle. That's why they say don't feed the wild animals because they will become dependent. Seems to hold true for humans too.
