The world is like a monopoly board. larger, but in the end, also finite. Our actions are finally starting to be influenced by finite. Communication with radio, transportation with jet travel. How jobs, automation, and population are affected is playing out now. The big question is how will glutton pig greed be affected? If its not, then we're screwed.

...what about when the world decides to switch from a FINITE source of fuel (fossil fuels) to an electric one derived from wind, sun, water, etc? What if...just what if viable alternatives are found to issues concerning a given commodities finite lifespan?

Any renewable energy would help, but the issue is its not renewable on an infinite scale.
