IDK why they are reporting the stock market is reacting to this news (other than to cause fear) because no in in their right mind has valued a company's stock higher because they really think the 20% rate is going to go through.

Probably because it indicates the GOP can't even agree on a feasiblke plan internally much less expose it to public scrutiny and the legislative process, which does not bode well for Donald dealmakers yuge reform.

Yeah I think that's right. Their messaging is shit right now, Donald is throwing bombs on everything, and tax reform in general is a huge undertaking. Market is reacting to GOP unable to do anything at all. Also...I bet there actually is a lot of speculative investment in companies that people expect to benefit a lot from the "tax reform."

I think that'd have knock on effects on the lower classes as well. Upper middle class employs gardeners, goes out, spends money, etc.
But corporations will douse the country in jobs.
