I am not sure why anyone would have issues with this system. There are a lot of forums where your posts have to be authorized by a mod before they become visible. After a while the mods will relax the system once they see they can trust your content.
And I might be wrong but this is not a permanent state of affairs is it?. Once a poster shows they have corrected whatever issue the mods have, their classification would be again modified to normal status

It's only a problem if mods aren't on and actively monitoring, but I assume this was created as a preventative measure because of the fact that the mods currently are unable to stay on top of the issues arising, so I find it hard to believe that this is a good solution, though ueber says that this is a task that mods should be able to perform in a more timely manner.

You don't know what my reasoning is, I didn't post that. I did post my preference, though it didn't stop you from repeatedly asking me what my preference is.
