How to solve the Israel-Palestine problem

Postby Doncorelone » Mon Jul 14, 2014 7:57 am

Easy, make Israel withdraw to 1967 borders, and then place international (US, EU) troops in a buffer zone to keep both sides seperate for a period of 50 years. Palestinians get the chance to build their own state, and Israel gets added security guarantees because of the buffer zone.

Why hasn't anyone done this.

Because we all have a serious disease. It's got roughly a 97% infection rate. It is passed not just by air or contact, but even via radio and TB signals. And, once infected, is nearly impossible to cure. It's called f**k.

People seem to forget how much domestic politics are at play both in Israel, Palestinian Territories and other involved countries.

Simple: because it's not in the interests of Likud nor Hamas to stop the conflict.

There is hundreds and hundreds of millions of dollars and euros flowing to the PA and to Gaza. They need to be victims of the Jooooos to keep their paychecks.
