I'd honestly be more concerned about an Egypt that's destabilizing significantly in a rapid and violent fashion than a change of political power since the army has always been in charge anyways.

Feels like an attempt to bring Syria to Egypt. I wonder what Israel's border with Egypt looks like right now..:

Egypt has $40 billion pledged by the Gulf Emirates and Sauidi Arabia to prop up Gen. El-sisi's military coup so he doesn't care if Obama takes away the $1 billion in US aid. El-sisi would not take Obama's call from Martha's Vinyard today because he would have gotten the same dressing-down that Obama gave Mubarak forcing him to step down. Good move by Gen. El-sisi IMO.

More failure of Obama's ME foreign policy in Egypt and Syria to come.
