backlash against naked body scanners from congress is forcing the TSA to get rid of the naked body xray scanners. article notes that another kind exists that gives a generic image and points out potential "hot spots" where the TSA agents should look, not an actual image. those are staying, but naked body scans are out

Good. I'm flying to NY for my honeymoon in March. Wish they were out by then. I actually managed not to fly since these were started and had hoped I'd never have to.

Oh well. It'll be a story I'll tell my grandchildren; the story of when the government was so big they wanted to see everyone naked.

The scanners dont concern me as much as the TSA does.
