More debating, less insulting or the thread is going to be locked.
Comrade, do you think the Earth cannot handle the changes? Or are you simply stating that people are affecting the climate?

Yep, Enoch got it.
Just thought of another plus. The population of black folks in Utah would more than double if a football team moved to town. The Real Soccer Team just brought in more whiteys. Kinda cancelled out what The Jazz did for them. More black folks would be good for Utah. They scare the living hell outta the Mormons.

When was the last time the Dutch had to deal with 30-foot waves, 14-foot tidal surges, or 120mph wind?
Not even going to comment on those who say "New Orleans is sh!t". That ends up being a "mine is bigger than yours" arguement.
As for the building location, where would you prefer the city to be built? Perhaps the Rocky Mountains? Oh wait, snowstorms. The NorthWest? Oh wait, mudslides. The West Coast? Earthquakes. The midwest? Tornados. Florida? More hurricanes than even LA.
Also, if you take away New Orleans, where would you relocate the 2nd-ranked waterborne freight port in the US? Where would you refine more of the nation's petroleum than any other state except Texas? You say the nation wouldn't care if NO left? Well, I'll bet that you would, when your gas prices spiked and you couldn't buy your widgets at Wal-Mart anymore.
