Have to admit, I find myself increasingly against this.

Just to be clear, this guys age isn't important.. There's plenty of older people who think if we don't strike soon the Syrian Air Force will be bombing NY next week.. They are sure this is a 'national security issue'.

My point is the MIC, the media and Washington are trotting out yet another phony bogeyman. And the public is falling for it, again..

In other words, we're idiots.

I for the life of me cannot understand why the response of the political leaders is always "let's bomb them." It's like the political class hasn't evolved past the status of chimpanzees. It's similar to there being a fire and the response is that we need to hurry up and toss some gasoline into it.

I have tried very hard this time to understand the administration's position. The best justification that I have been able to decipher is that Obama drew a "red line" around the use of chemical weapons and now that it has been crossed, must enforce the opposition to such use. The problem is that I again don't see how flinging bombs around is anything like the most viable solution. The idea that Syria is on the verge of using chemical weapons on the United States or is about to bomb is stupidity on the level of believing that the global political leaders are actually a secret alien race of lizards who feed off of humans. Goddamn people are stupid.

The 2 front runners for the Dem nod are both stanch hawk who have supported every major use of military action of the last 20 years or so.

Why is it such a big dam deal if gas vs high explosives is used to kill innocent people? When the bomb explodes, how it kills is irrelivant to those killed. Oh, and once again, WHERE THE HELL IS THE UN?? Still having tea at the cricke match I suppose.
