The younger generation seems to yearn for a third party, and among that group it breaks into progressives (not the Obama variety, real progressives) and libertarians, but I imagine the progressives will compromise a bit and most of the libertarians will grow up, and then we'll have a generation that leans slightly to the left. Won't be nearly as dramatic as the democratic dominance post Great Depression.

i'm curious to see what another lost presidential election will do for them. they can only coast on "not conservative enough" for so long.
