to be fair to them, we let the inuit and others hunt whales as part of their tradition, yet we condemn japan for it?

Doubt they'll comply tbh. Japan rarely bows to international pressure in general and I don't know what action the rest of the world could/would take against Japan if it were to ignore the ruling.

yeah but from what i know of japans whaling, they don't really kill that many whales, do they? i thought whale meat was still incredibly expensive and rare in japan.
