How will Republicans deal with the Affordable Care Act?
I believe the Whitehouse can and will exercise their discretionary powers to undermine or disrupt the operations of the federal Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. Regardless of president Trump’s statements, he will actively strive to undermine ACA.

The questions are to the extent of possible disruption if congressional Republicans do not choose to hinder the White-House’s efforts, or to what extent they choose to assist or oppose the White-House in this matter?
To what extent can the congressional Republicans act to assist the president if they wish to deny complicity before their constitutes, or would they be unconcerned with the effects upon their reputations?

They won't deal with it as long as lawmakers are subject to lobby/bribery from the industry. That also includes Dem's. That's the reason for the crappy garbage (ACA), in the first place.

outside of moral support there is not much congress can do to act in that way. the executive can decline to spend and cause court cases and whatnot to come of it, but congress just watches. i guess if there is a couty case the republicans can file an amicus curiae?

I think it would be ok if they took the extortion part out (buy it or pay a penalty). Apparently many don't mind being extorted, or may not even know they are.
